What is EduWallet?+
EduWallet is Uganda's complete digital education platform — combining school fee collection, student wallets, digital report cards, academic verification, parent communication and school administration in one secure system.
Who is EduWallet for?+
Nursery, primary, secondary, vocational, universities, international and Islamic schools — plus their parents, teachers, students, employers and government partners.
Is EduWallet a Ugandan company?+
Yes. EDUWALLET UG LIMITED is registered in Uganda and headquartered in Kampala.
Where can I log in?+
The EduWallet application lives at app.eduwallet.ug. This website (eduwallet.ug) is for information and demo requests.
Payments
How can schools collect fees digitally?+
Parents pay via MTN Mobile Money, Airtel Money, bank transfer or card. Payments auto-match to each student, receipts are instant, and the bursar sees live reconciliation.
How do parents pay school fees online?+
Open the parent app or dial the USSD, enter the child's pay code, choose MoMo/Airtel/bank, and approve. An SMS receipt arrives within seconds.
What payment providers are supported?+
MTN MoMo, Airtel Money, Yo! Pay, Fincra, Stanbic Flexipay, and direct bank transfer with major Ugandan banks.
Are there transaction fees?+
Standard MoMo/Airtel operator fees apply to parents. Schools pay one flat monthly platform fee — never a percentage of collections.
Can we accept partial payments?+
Yes. Fees can be paid in installments; the ledger tracks running balances automatically.
Academics
Does EduWallet generate report cards?+
Yes. Primary, O-Level, A-Level, vocational, university, IGCSE/IB and Islamic templates with PDF export and direct email to parents.
Which curricula are supported?+
Ugandan national primary, O-Level, A-Level, vocational, university, IGCSE/IB and Islamic curricula.
Can teachers enter marks from their phone?+
Yes. Teachers log in, pick their class and enter marks directly — no spreadsheets required.
How does UNEB reporting work?+
Standard exports for UNEB registrations at PLE, UCE and UACE, ready to upload.
Verification
How can report cards be verified?+
Every report card and certificate carries a unique QR code and verification ID. Anyone can scan or enter the code at verify.eduwallet.ug to see a signed authentic record.
Can employers verify graduate credentials?+
Yes. Employers use the verification portal to look up transcripts and certificates in real time.
Do students keep their credentials after graduating?+
Yes. Every graduate gets a lifelong Academic Portfolio at eduwallet.ug/portfolio/{id} they can share with employers and universities.
Security & data
Is my school data secure?+
Yes. Encrypted at rest and in transit, role-based access, full audit logs, geo-redundant backups. Aligned with PCI, GDPR and NITA-U guidance.
Who owns the data?+
Your school owns 100% of its data and can export everything at any time. We simply process it on your behalf.
What happens if the internet is down?+
Attendance, marks entry and receipts work offline and sync automatically once you reconnect.
Do you back up data?+
Yes. Encrypted daily backups with geo-redundancy across regions.

How long does onboarding take?+
Most schools go live within 24 hours. Our team assists with student imports, fee structures and staff training.
Is there training?+
Yes. Free onboarding training for staff, plus a training center at eduwallet.ug/training-center.
How do I get support?+
Email, WhatsApp and phone support during business hours. Professional and Enterprise plans include priority and dedicated support.
Do you offer on-site training?+
Yes, on the Enterprise plan and for multi-campus deployments.
Pricing & trial
How much does EduWallet cost?+
Starter starts at 250,000 UGX/month for up to 300 students; Professional at 650,000 UGX for up to 1,000; Enterprise is custom priced.
Is there a free trial?+
Yes. Every school gets a 14-day free trial with real data and full features — no credit card required.
Are there setup fees?+
No. Onboarding is free on every plan.
Can EduWallet manage multiple campuses?+
Yes, on the Enterprise plan. Each campus has its own staff, finances and reporting, rolled up centrally.
